My Room, My Working Space

我的房間，我的工作室

開始有一點點樣子囉！一步步接近美好。

初搬進來的時候，只是想著我得有一塊可以工作的區域。

看看租用的房間，其實不大～卻有一張雙人床板占了好大的空間。

一個人根本不需要這麼大的床，但要把這床板移走也不知道擺哪好。

那～不如將計就計！就把雙人床的地方變成工作小區域吧！

鋪上了幾塊榻榻米，把小櫃子小桌子全部擺上去。

其實還挺＂樹西＂的呀！就是一個自己的小秘密基地！

是阿～你所看到的那張和室小茶几，就是我刻章的位置。

從以前到現在的印章兒，都是在這張桌子前產生的～

必須要窩著身體蹲在桌子前，畫畫、刻章、蓋章。

This space is strating to form its wonderful appearance!

When I moved in here, I just though I did need to have a working space.

Looking around this room, it is not big. There was even a double bed occupied this room.

As for one person only, I don't need such big bed. But I have no idea where I could put it.

Then~why don't I just use this bed in other way? Let's make this bed become my working space!

I found some tatami and put on the bed, also put the table and cabinet.

It really looks nice. I have my own little space!

As you can see, the little circular table is where I making stamps.

All my stamps from the begining were finished on this table.

I have to crouched in front of this little table drawing, carving and stamping.

在這個小區塊，想得是我可以不用走動，

扭個身體就可以拿到所有的材料和工具。

因為它們都圍著我，一起在這個小工作區做工！

喜歡的櫃子、喜歡的檯燈、喜歡的全部通通放上來。

還有一個不能用的舊紅色小烤箱，拿來裝著線材。

掛上Rob Ryan的旗幟，咱們慶祝吧！

In this space, what my dream is I could get any materials and tools I need

and I do not need to walk, only need to turn my body.

Because all the materials and tools are around me.

I put on the cabinet I liked, the desk lamp I liked and every thing I liked.

There is a broken red oven, I use it to store many kinds of ropes.

Hang on the flag of Rob Ryan, let's celebrate!

其實一直在小桌子刻刻得我，心裡面是很想要一張大桌子的！

只是因為租屋，總覺得能用就用，不是很想額外購入太多大型的傢俱。

所以遲遲沒有實現心中那張大木桌的願望。

但就在有一天，明信片工廠又在小桌子前開工時，

真的意識到...不能再這樣下去了！我需要一張大木桌！

然後很快的，周末我就出發去把大木桌帶回來了。

把桌子扛回來，到一根根鎖好螺絲，實在不容易！

不過當把木桌子擺好的那一瞬間，真得好開心！

終於，我不用蹲著在小桌子前面刻章了。

也不用面臨被好多印章、工具等等包圍，不知如何起身好的窘境。

小工作區於是得以拓展囉～

 Actually in my deep mind, I do want to have a big table!

 I always rejected to put too much heavy big furniture because this room is rented.

Therefore I can't make my big table dream come true.

But one day, when I strated to work in front of my little table again.

I realized that I really need to have a big table with me!

 And very soon, I went to find my big table in the following weekend.

It was not easy to ship the table home and also to build it up.

But when the wooden table was done, I really felt happy!

Finally, I don't need to carve stamps in front of the little table.

I do not need to face the situation that arounding by lot of tools 

and don't know how to get myself out.

My working space is expanding now!

原本的夾燈也挪來大桌子繼續使用。

當初會想要買夾燈，就是因為夾燈沒有底座！

因為小桌子面積已經很小了，檯燈的燈座占一塊面積讓我很困擾。

所以之前就選擇了夾燈，解決底座占空間的難題～

放到大桌子，一樣適用！

上面有晴子的黏土吸鐵作品，是英國紳士！

還有莉莉與孩子們的羊毛球作品。

I keep using my old clamp lamp.

At the begining I choose to buy a clamp lamp was because there is no base.

The area of my little table is really small and I can't stand sharing some space with the base.

Therefore I choose the clamp lamp~without base.

It still fit to the big wood table, nice!

好大的桌面！好喜歡阿～

What a big desktop! I love it~

 這一個櫃子，是紅酒箱喔！

跟一般得酒箱不太一樣，它原本就有隔板呢！

一個立起來，就是很棒的層架。只是層板的木片很薄不能撐重物。

不過呢～對於收納紙膠帶，它真得是一個非常適合的櫃子啊！

酒箱真是一個好物！

This cabinet is actually a crate of red wine.

Not like normal crate, it is a bulkhead crate.

When put it upright, the crate then become a cabinet.

Although I can't put heavy things on it.

But for store my tissue tapes, it is really good!

另一個買桌子時候發現的好東西，推車！

是一個三層的木推車～好喜歡他的質感。

好吧～我有一點是因為它是木頭的所以衝動買了。

其實我不是真的真的那麼需要它...

我把印泥們、常用的工具們放上去。

這樣，要在大木桌工作也可以，換去小工作區也OK唷！

真得是我很美好的幻想～哈哈哈

Another good thing I found when buying the table: cart!

It is a wooden cart with three layers. I really love the texture.

OK~I have to say that I bought it only because it is wooden.

I do not really really need it...

I put inks and some tools that were usually used on the cart.

And then I could easily move my work to the table or the space!

However, it is my wonderful fantasy~hahaha

 阿～工作室終於有一點樣子了！

在一點點折衷、一點點妥協下～找到它的樣子。

其實本來也沒有設定所謂理想的樣子。

就是一點一滴，與自己工作的模式去磨合～

然後找到最適合自己、最舒服的狀態。

那就很好了！

 Oh~my working space is finally setting down. 

 With a little compromise, it found it's appearance.

 Actaully I didn't set my idealy appearance for the working space.

Just let it run in with my working style.

And then to find the status which fits me.

That is the best!
